U.S. Space and Rocket Center, home to Space Camp, Aviation Challenge and X-Camp; the U.S. Space & Rocket Center is recognized as one of the most comprehensive U.S. manned space flight hardware museums in the world. The Huntsville Botanical Garden is a beautiful 110-acre site with stunning floral collections, inviting woodland paths and broad grassy meadows. The 5-acre Central Corridor Garden, features aquatic, perennial, and annual displays ablaze with color from early spring through fall. Kids of all ages love the G-scale trains that travel the Garden Railway. The Butterfly House is open May through September each year. Enjoy lunch in the Tea Room.

Cherry trees and a Japanese bridge accent the small lake forming the centerpiece of Big Spring International Park. Located near the site where city founder John Hunt built his cabin in 1805, the park now hosts some of Huntsville’s biggest annual events, including Panoply, the arts festival, and Big Spring Jam, the music festival.

Huntsville is home of the Huntsville Stars, a minor league baseball team. All home games are played at the Joe Davis Stadium located along South Parkway. During the regular season every Friday night games are followed by a fireworks show which makes for excellent entertainment for the entire family or even a great date night.

The Huntsville Havoc is our beloved hockey team. Home games are played at the Von Braun Civic Center (VBC). When it is just too cold to go outside it may be time to come indoors to enjoy a high-energy, intense hockey game.
